This visa is for persons who wish to travel to Italy to study in any of the institutions of learning in Italy. This visa is also for those who are going to Italy for internship programmes. A no-objection letter is required from the educational institution where you are currently enrolled (if applicable). Internship agreement signed between the company in Italy, the establishment of origin and the trainee must be provided. An original and legible photocopy of acceptance of enrollment by the Italian School of Institution, stating clearly the duration of the course is required. Dichiarazione di Valore (Declaration of Value) of the applicant’s educational certificates duly legalized by the Consular office of the Consulate-General is important.  The local Institution or school should advise this Consulate directly in case it is not required. Foreign students are not allowed to work while on this visa. Proof of payment of visa application fees. A notarized parental authorization is required from the applicant’s parents especially if the applicant is a minor. Proof of sponsorship of the applicant should be submitted, this could be scholarship letters.

This visa is for persons who are traveling to Italy for sightseeing and tourism purposes. You will provide evidence showing that you have enough money to support yourself throughout your stay in Italy.  You also need to provide bank certifications, bank books, personal bank statements, credit card statements or balance covering the last six months. If another person will be financially sponsoring your trip to Italy, they are to provide an affidavit of support. You are to provide a detailed day-to-day plan of your entire stay in Italy. A letter of invitation from your relative/friend living in Italy, officially inviting you to visit him/her is required. Proof of your relationship with the friend or relative is to be provided. If you will be traveling with a minor, you will need to provide a valid birth certificate. A complete application form which must have been signed by both parents must also be provided. Family court order should be provided in cases where only one parent has full custody over the child. Certified copies of the ID/passport of both parents of that minor are also required. If the minor will be traveling alone or with another person, they are to provide an original and copy of the accompanying person’s passport page containing the holder’s data and expiry date. A recent photograph and valid visa copies are to be provided.  A notarized parental authorization to travel to Italy, signed by both parents/guardians. When applying at the Italian embassy/consulate in Philippines, the guardian or parent should accompany the minor. The visa fee for children between the ages of 0 and 6 is FREE while children between the ages of 6 and 12 are to pay 35 EURO.

This visa is for persons traveling to Italy for employment purposes. Before applying for this visa, applicants must have been given employment contracts in Italy. A covering letter from the Italian inviting company is to be provided.  The letter should indicate your name and designation, and travel dates. Travel Itinerary and applicant's duration of stay, details about the sponsor, the purpose of the visit are all to be signed by the authorized personnel and submitted. The registration certificate of the inviting company in Italy is to be provided. A letter from your employer stating why you will be traveling to Italy is to be provided. Proof of the applicant's financing throughout their entire stay in Italy is required. Regarding the applicant’s expenses during their stay in Italy, either the employer or the partner company must state coverage of expenses on the letter or invitation. Applicants are to leave Italy on or before the expiration of this visa.

This visa is issued to the Philippines traveling to Italy for some business-related activities. A completed Italian business visa application form.  Two identical photos should be taken within the last three months. You will need to submit a valid passport not older than 10 years and has a validity of at least three more months beyond the date you plan to leave Italy and the whole territory of Schengen. Holders of this visa can attend conferences, seminars, meetings and sign contracts in Italy.
